88 lines about 88 drabblecasts
Ever heard the 80's song "88 Lines About 44 Women" by the Nail? It’s a fun, cheesy song and very, very, 80's.
Imagine if Norm did a Bbardle "88 Lines about 88 Drabblecast"- each line of the song summing up an episode of the drabblecast, preferably in order. I guess it doesn't have to be 88, could be 100 or something. Think it would be a heck of a challenge for Norm and a fun way to reminisce over drabblecast episodes past.
If anyone wants to pool funds on the idea to get the needed $100, send me an email or post here.

Money
Money wise, we are just under halfway there.
Someone asked me if it would have to be in the style of an 80s song or The Nails. I vote no. I like Norm’s acoustic guitar styling. Unplugged.

Being a contributor to this song, I demand as many splat sounds as possible in the song! lol }:0D
By as possible I mean as many as makes sense with the song, then a few more just because {:0p
Or however. At least one raelly good one, that's all I really want.

<- Falling!!!
SPLAT!!!
That's what I call an emoterabble story.

I like the folk guitar style, but I never know what the hell Bob Dylan is saying. I'd hate for Norm to write 88 lines and no one be able to understand any of them.
As far as splat sounds, I feel about them the same way I do about gratuitous sex and violence in film. Its all good, as long as its necessary and important to the plot.

Gratuitous is fine as long as it's necessary. Hmm... Necessary gratuitousness. Gratuitous necessity.
I think Norm's native folk guitar style would be dandy. Now, the idea here is a song in which all 70 of the Drabblecast episodes get a line, right? (Or 71 or 72 or whatever the number of the episode to which the bbardle is attached.) That sounds like a tall order, but Norm doesn't seem to have any trouble writing lots and lots of verses.

Dylan would be good except then we couldn't understand what he's saying.Chivalrybean wrote:Looks like we've raised enough. As far as what the song is about and style, I just request lots of squish noises, the grosser the better. Style? What about a Bob Dylan style?

Hmm.. Reggae?

Necessary gratuitousness - Yeah, its my new motto. I may have T-Shirts made.
Reggae might be interesting - has there been a rasta or reggae Bbartle, mahn?
