Write 3 a day. Then 4-5 hours later, go back and edit them. 2 hours after that, post the best one (per day).

Total time: 20-40 minutes, spread into 3 small sessions.

No! That's sexist! :x
If anything, it would be "Welcome, Ma Damn."

Well, I decided to adopt the write 3, revise later, and pick the best amendment to my challenge, although unfortunately I've already broken the 10 minutes only rule, so I'm just abandoning that one...

So here's what I felt was my best today:

It was my turn to host the Cult of Dagon's convocation this month. Turns out sashimi is not a suitable mid-meeting snack.

Picasso. Michelangelo. DaVinci. Steven had finally caught up with them: he now weighed as much as all of them combined.

What a spendered thing is the craft. Useful for so many things. Love? Money? Happiness? Well, two out of three ain't bad.

Grrr. What's with all the misspellerizations?

"Spendered" ain't in my OED. Perhaps "splendored" was meant? But, I'm holding out for "spindried". :P

Edited. Though I'm curious as to why my spellchecker didn't catch that the first time through.

Good, but has couple grammar errors.

Possible edit:
"I'm agnostic, and I worship Agnos, the ancient Greek Goddess of uncertainty."
"Oh, is she helpful?"
"I. don't. KNOW!"

Bonus palindrome:   Em, Agnos... I is on game.

Anywho, best to worship Angus. The burnt offerings are better. :)

When she said, "Careful of the ankle biters," he'd assumed she'd meant toddlers.
So she had, but they were also zombies.

Well, here's my favourite for today, in the nick of time. 2 days down, 5 to go. On the plus side, I composed inside my 10 minute limit this time, and found it easier to pull ideas from just what was in my room.

"Behold, my anti-matter grenade!"

Jenkins cleared his throat, "Ah, Sir? I, ah, believe that is in fact your egg timer."

Congrats for sticking with such a noble goal. :P

Whelp, here's today's effort:

I lay on the bed, wondering. Perhaps she hadn't meant me to take it so literally when she said "over my dead body". Ah well.

Not sure if it was better than one of yesterday's back-ups, but I felt if I started cheating I might lose the motivation to compose decent ones instead of just using spares.
