What’s up? Tom asked Becky the waitress
Debating another alien abduction, Becky replied.
More sheep from Ernie’s? Tom asked.
No, now they took Ernie she said with a nod to the man standing in the corner, oddly shifting from one foot to the other.
Staring at Ernie, Tom cleared his throat and announced.
“They are looking for our political leaders”
What makes you so sure? Asked Becky.

Not really a cheap shot, I am a political agnostic

Think of how much better things would be around here if all of our politicians were routinely rounded up by aliens and taken to their home planet Probus for a few months. Anytime they got out of line we could threaten them with sending travel brochures to the aliens or free nights at a Holiday Inn Express coupons.

Think of how much better things would be around here if all of our politicians were routinely rounded up by aliens and taken to their home planet Probus for a few months. Anytime they got out of line we could threaten them with sending travel brochures to the aliens or free nights at a Holiday Inn Express coupons.

That may be the very reason some of our politicians ran for office in the first place.
