Thief

Post by PhineasQP » Sat Jan 26, 2013 6:42 pm

In a land probably very far away from you, there lives a mischievous thief. This man is not a pickpocket lifting wallets on the street. He would never rob you at gunpoint. Nor is he a burglar, slipping into your home to plunder art from your walls or gems from your safe.

He has no interest in taking your money. He wants something much more valuable. This swindler distracts using words built into pointless stories so that he may take away little bits of your precious time.

You will never get back the last thirty seconds of your life.

Sucker.

Why yes, yes sir, I would. I only wish I'd been clever enough to think of it.

Time well lost, I say. Clever.

When you have ADD in the family, this is a relative of the Family Circus 'Not Me' ghost, constantly making you wonder how often that odd kid is going the be showing up as you try to get the kids to school. Nice!
