The earth undulated like ocean waves in the distance, while a school of fish swam through the sky, silhouetted by the setting sun.

Back in the city, I ran naked through the streets for hours before finding the classroom where I had to take my final exam. I got there just as everyone was leaving, and they all laughed at me, even as the shadows surged and fed on them.

When those nightmares turned their attention on me I fled, remembering how differently I had interpreted the fortune cookie last night when it read:

"Tomorrow all your dreams come true!"
