Illegal Fireworks

Post by ROU Killing Time » Mon Jul 06, 2009 10:27 pm

It was the 4th of July and at 14, Timmy was precociously bright for his years.

Using a simple quantum transformation formula he had discovered, the tiniest of the tiny was laid bare for his manipulation.

The size of a ladyfinger, the small cylindrical device in his hands would cause all the geekions and nerdiopoles in existence to perfectly polarize to one another.

The desired effect would be to cause a cascading instantaneous singularity of all matter/space-time.

He giggled as he lit the fuse and plugged his ears with his fingers.

"Nothing's gonna muffle the blast from this big bang."

Illegal? I'm not sure a universal annihilator would fall under any current laws. At least, I'm pretty sure they aren't illegal in my state.

Come to think, there aren't any laws against making zombies or golems either. Geez! What do those congressmen do all day?

You're being all gloomy, pessimistic, and "glass half-empty" about this whole issue, Tweedy.

Sure, Timmy was playing Shiva, but if ya wanna do "The Vishnu Boogie", you gotta get out a broom and sweep the dust off the floor to get a nice clean slate to dance upon every once in awhile.

(hmm, that concept reminds me a bit of the drabble about the kid with the Cosmic Etch-a-sketch, loved that one...)

Nah. In my experience, the glass is generally three-fourths empty. I would never expect a glass to be filled all the way to the halfway point.
