Who's John Carvin?
Who's John Carvin?
Seems your PayPal account is associated with somebody named John Carvin, is this correct?

Of course he looks legit, but did you check him with an e-meter?
All xenu bashing aside, I had the same question, and was glad to see the answer here.

That guy has been known to skew the numbers on top of everything.
One day he will look into what a ‘stigmata’ really is; for now, it is his trump card for getting out of work. He simply says ‘stigmata’ and they say ‘shit, hope you feel better soon.’ End of story.

Re: Who's John Carvin?
Well, RATS. I wanted to start a thread titled, "Who the BLEEP is John Carvin?!" because my previous donations all said "drabblecast@yahoo.com".
But someone's already posted close-enough. Damn you, forum search!
So, Norm... If this Carvin guy is holding a gun to your head, press the shift-key twice.

WOW I just went to your Podcast Alley link. You've decorated that place just like home.

Re: Who's John Carvin?
I tried, but they said come back next month. Can we use the same multi-browser tactics we developed for Mega-Beast voting?

If you have multiple emails addresses and multiple browsers, I bet. Hold on... let me try it.
No, it don't work. They must be doing IP tracking.
I think you'd have to go to another network (like your neighbors), and use a different email address.

Huh, I figured that Strawman hadn't voted because the November vote count was 6, both before and after his post.

Re: Who's John Carvin?
Meh, it only gets 59, 25 and 82% at Rotten Tomatoes.
Worse, it does not disguise your IP address!
I'd add it to my netflix, but I've already got a couple of years, stacked up in the queue.

It's all good, and thanks for donating! He doesn't always get back to you right away, he's too busy making episodes for us!
That would be funny if the paypal account went to Ubuntu NissanHonda.

As I recall, 200 earthly US Dollars is the exact amount Ubuntu's sister charges for her deliverance ritual.

Hah! I knew I could find an answer somewhere. If not, I was going to start a thread with this same title.
Well Norm, you finally wore me down. It's not like I haven't wanted to donate to the podcast, but as my wife and I sit down every month to do our budget, and we try to cut back on everything, it seemed hard to justify more "frivolous" spending, especially since I am already donating to other podcasts. But man you put up a good fight. First you ran "women writing aliens" month with great stories. This was followed by several other engaging stories, featuring self-sacrificing socks, undefined river monsters, and snowman overlords. Then you hit me with Mongoose. Holy crap! I started to waver, but I'm still on my feet. Then you hit me with the onslaught of Go Beep, The Fantasy Jumper, an entire month of Lovecraftian tales by top authors, then Funeral Song for a Ventriliquist. I am down for the count, man. I can't stand mooching any longer. Uncle! Uuuuuuuunnnnnccclllllllllllllle!
I made a one-time donation yesterday of "more than $5", but still not enough, and starting next month, I will be kicking in for a continuing $5 per month donation. Well done, Norm, well done.
