This story of the relationship between a human and a tiny civilization isn't anything new. And it's not the first time it's been portrayed in a humorous manner (see Horton Hears a Who, Simpson's Treehouse of Terror; The Genesis Tub, and Men in Black II). O.K., technically Horton isn't human, but at least he's an anthropomorphicly written elephant. In the end it was a fun story to listen to, and I guess that is the point.

I would have liked if the author would've followed up with the little girl again to see how she interpreted the rebellion against her.

Sadly, no, but I have been told I'm a good size. I'm also not exactly what one might call 'bad'. I'm sorry for the hyperbole but somehow 'a decent sized, mildly irritating wolf' just didn't have the bite I was looking for.

This story was made of win. I look forward to Lovecraft month since it was begun a year or two ago, for this kind of great story.

Yes, miniature civilziation stories have been done before, but I liked this one more than the others. I dont think the others put such a Lovecraft Elder God spin on it, and if they did I haven't read them. I loved how the mundane intro gave insight into the skewed POV, like the feet with mouths and eyes on them and how horrifying they were, and the grotesque blue eyes.

I do think I would've liked a final bookend from the POV of the little girl again to see what she thought when they stabbed her in the nose, but I liked it the way it was too.

Nice one. I also want to compliment the Art Team. The story is enhanced with a great cover like that.

Not terribly memorable, but surely had its moments. I'm glad I listened, although for something so light it's wedged between some particularly heavy and awesome stories in the feed.

I don't care so much about the end coming back to the little girl, although I think that could have been possibly funny also. I loved the silly world building and background re: the rain drop people. Harkened back to Clown Eggs, maybe my favorite story on the podcast.

Couldn't help thinking of the snorks the whole time though, which got me thinking about the MegaBeast deathmatch podcast where they debated who would win in a full global war...Snorks vs. Smurfs.

Smurfs, obviously.
