Re: Drabblecast 214 - The Wish of the Demon Achtromagk

Thank you so much, Swamp! I'm downright giddy at how well my work, and particularly "The Wish of the Demon Achtomagk," has been received by Drabblecast listeners! I shall grow a swollen head. Or possibly a passel of cute, cuddly tentacles.

Alhilton, Seraph, & Djinndustries: Thank you!

Don't know why, but whenever I think of Lovecraftian elder gods, I think soft and huggy. Might be the plush Cthuhlu (like this one: http://www.toyvault.com/cthulhu/Cthulhu ... 0Large.jpg) sitting by my bed whispering to me in my sleep...

Unblinking, thanks for the kind words! I'm delighted you enjoyed "The Wish of the Demon Achtromagk." It was great fun to write, and the Drabblecast folks did an A-1 job--as usual. Major snaps to Norm for his fabulous reading!

Thanks, Goldenrat! Your wild skunk conditioning sounds most adaptive and sensible. But actually, it's not quite applicable in Hobkin's case. He's a domesticated skunk, born and bred to be a pet with a traceable "pedigree" and everything, not a skunk taken from the wild. We actually had to drive cros...

Thanks for all the kind words for "The Wiggly People," everyone. Y'all put a grin on my face and a bounce in my step. As to speculation about my sanity, I've said it before, and I'll say it again: All writers are insane. If we didn't start out that way, the biz turns us into twitching, neurotic wrec...
