Is it sad that I recognised most of the musical cues from part two? Or is it awesome?
I'm leaning towards awesome, but only because of the "Tears in the Rain" bit at the end.

Re: Drabblecast 168- Route Nine by Samantha Henderson
So, all in all, I found the story delightfully creepy. Mostly because when I got home after listening to this in the car, my house reeked of acetone. I was told that it was because my niece had been playing with nail polish.
...
Yeah, nail polish. That's obviously what happened.

Damn it Norm, you gave me nightmares with that story.
I made my younger sister listen to it after I was done (It's part of a crusade I have to try and get her to like more than Twilight) and she claims that she was scared of it too.
In short: more like this please!

I remember hearing thin when it was on Escape Pod, and I liked it then. With Norm reading it, I now love it.
Seriously Norm, in my book your reading voice is up there with Stephen Fry and John Hodgman.

Re: Drabblecast 43- "Jelly Park" by Aliya Whiteley
So, I caught myself humming a song today in calculus class. Only after I left class, after humming for an hour, I realized the song was "Jelly Park".
Norm, your viral songs have infiltrated my head to the deepest extent. I'm not sure whether to love or hate you for that.

Re: Drabblecast 131- Storm Comes A' Callin’ by Jeremiah Tolbert
Well, the story was great, the narration was awesome, and the "In Search Of" bit made me want to dig up some of the old Nimoy tapes in my basement. Really, the only thing I didn't like was that the concept (sentient storms) might hurt the chances for my recent submission being accepted. And that wou...

I know I heard about it via an Escape Pod blog post, but I honestly don't remember when.
Nix that, iTunes says it was November of last year.

Wow. Just... wow.
That was an awesome story. There's not much more to say about it. (Well, there is, but it's all related to how awesome the story is, so it doesn't really add to the statement.)

Well, since it's all part of my time travel outfit, I don't have a flamethrower. But it might be useful to have one for general purposes.

John knew that curiosity killed the cat. What he didn't know was that curiosity would be so literal.

I'm gonna' go with Killary, as she obviously has the longer reach, and thus would ventilate Skarah before the latter could even get in range.

And now, a summary of the story I'm currently working on:
The tornado needed food if it wished to spawn. It looked and saw it's favorite food: a trailer park.

Re: Comics as literature
Your assignment offends me. It's not my classification, it's my teacher's. I was offended as well. Anyway, assigning Trajan's column to read seems rather impractical, but since I've already put Understanding Comics on the list on the basis that you'll want to know what it is you're reading, and sin...

Comics as literature
Hey there everybody, I've got a problem. I've been assigned to write up a book list for a class called "comics as literature". Now, normally, I'd just say Watchmen and be done with it, but the assignment says that the parents of the students are all conservative right-wing Christians, and thus would...
