Wake up, ppl!
Norm just declared that the Drabblecast was going to be open to new voices! Nathan Lee is going to be choosing the stories from now on! These are dangerous, heady times. I have a Yeti mic and no experience. Am I banished to the Dribble wastes? Nay! I shall summon all the weirdness I contain! Here am...

Re: Drabblecast 344 - Doubleheader XV
You can take all of what I'm about to write with a grain of salt, as I'm about 2.5 beers in: The first story I liked. It was more of a motif than a story, but it was a motif that was humorous, odd, and ethereal. While the chair was an ordinary object, its backstory was fully in line with the Drabble...

All made up characters can be said to be extensions of the author's mind. Somewhere in Arizona, Mickey is freezing cold.

Re: Drabblecast 341- The Litany of Earth
This was a good story that kept me wondering what was going to happen next, but the ending was unsatisfying. Most of its appeal comes from the gradual reveal that the main character is otherworldly and has knowledge of earth's far past and future through the use of arcane magic. As for the story arc...

Re: Drabblecast 285 – Doubleheader XIII
Locked in had a great twist ending. Is it wrong that I laughed out loud in my car at the end (quite a lot)? It also struck me that this particular story is different from the norm in that its something that could feasibly happen today, in our world. Every other Norm on the show is rather implausible.

Re: Drabblecast 284 – Turning Point
Great ending, and unexpected, though this does have historical precedent in a way. The Israelites under the Babylonian empire come to mind.
