Thanks guys, I feel like my brain is starting to accept the drabble mentality,

Steaming little baggie (Asshole Samaritan Theme)
It's never pleasant, but it must be done. After Mutley’s finished, I pull out a tiny plastic bag. The fresh heat pressing against fingers is sickly, it takes concentration to keep my porridge down. I stash the baggie next to the path. I’ll pick it up after our walk, senseless to carry it. Not long a...

Shallow pockets
As soon as the vast steel doors have shut, his hands are free of their bindings. He plunges them deeply into shallow pockets, fingers grasping for solutions to the myriad of problems which could thwart his escape. Left hand returns with a paper clip and a stale baked potato, his right with a tuft of...

I liked it, took me a while to click but turns out I'm not as well versed on Kaiju as I probably should be.

My best friend
I don't see Rain nearly as often as I'd like to. She tells me that although the river stays, the water is always different. I miss her often, in the flow of our lives. Even though the heat of a cloudless sky warms me. When I hear the rumble of her coming beyond the horizon, my heartbeat doubles. Som...

So it happens with puppies too.
Thinking that it might not be a good thing to be a puppy in the strawman house or the Macbeths.
Come to think of it, being a four legged anything in the Macbeth household is probably a bad idea.

Re: A knock at the door
I really like the ambiguity of this one, it makes you think about the possible relationships between the characters. I took it that the narrator and Joanne were perhaps Terrance's daughters, that the police or social services were hammering on the door, and that it took so long to clean the floorbo...

Re: A knock at the door
Slightly confused at the ending... :? Now you've got me questioning it myself! Am open to edits, what part makes it confusing? The lines that had me confused: I’ve been scrubbing Joanne out of the floorboards for weeks. She always was the outspoken type. I think I have it now... give me time, my br...

A knock at the door
Often I hear a knock on the door. I’ve never really bothered to get up and find out who it is. Terrance says that I should just ignore it and whoever it is will eventually get bored and go away. “Just one of those Jehovah's Witnesses” he says “Up to no good, here to bible bash us into submission, th...

Re: Bases Covered
Albums require more songs, a minimum of ten. I tried to commission a bbardle last year, but the Muse, the Fates, and Norm's schedule weren't having it. Anyway, Norm will eventually have enough tunes, and Bases Covered will be on that album, remixed and all shiny like. If it were up to me, Norm woul...
