Re: Drabblecast 390 - I Will Remain
This is probably my fave episode since the relaunch! The story and narrating was sooo good. And the sound effects -- GROSS! But in the best way imaginable.

Re: Drabblecast 340 - On a Clear Day You Can See All the Way
Why isn't Dave Robison on radio? Why isn't Dave Robison on radio? WHY ISN'T DAVE BLEEPIN' ROBINSON ON THE BLOODY RADIO? He should be, or at least his voice belongs there, is what I'm saying. This episode was hilarious (I actually laughed out loud) and the production is perfection . So worth it.

Re: Drabblecast 338 - The Crevasse
The story was well written, if not entirely my cup o' tea. However , I really want to applaud the production in this one, the sound effects were out- standing and the work that went into it truly shows. Not a howl of distress was out of place, not a gun-shot too loud. The atmosphere created with sou...

Re: Drabblecast 191 - Primary Pollinator
As podcasts usually help me fall asleep, I was casually listening through old episodes before going to bed. However, I just couldn't get any shut-eye before I had dragged this up from the forum archives to tell everyone how utterly wonderful I found this story. I thought the sexual imagery was hilar...

Re: Drabblecast 258 - Brown Dust
I'm glad this wasn't the first DC episode I listened to. Out of all (and that is nearly all by this point) the ones I've been through —the dystopia, the post-apocalyptical and the dead babies— this was the most depressing of them all. It was ridiculously well-written, though, and last night it was j...

This is turning rather off topic, but I have to say thank you; I was looking for that song/"ad" on YouTube after I heard it on DC, but couldn't find it on their channel. Wonderful stuff.Re lutefisk, I had only yesterday submitted this post: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=5845

Cheers, you guys! ASiD, Strawman, thanks a bunch for the warm welcome
(Strawman: I cannot for the life of me recall any mention of the horror that is lutefisk, but perhaps my Nor-dar went off without my notice and brought me here unconsciously. Now, how's that for a creepy story?)

Re: DC 322 – The Carnival Was Eaten, All Except the Clown
Ah, I rather liked the idea of sugar-magic and the world building surrounding this concept. I am also very pleased to see a Drabblecast-feature involving clowns where the clown in question is one of the sweetest and most kind-hearted characters there -- how's that for a twist?

Re: Drabblecast 310 – The Ugly Chickens
I, for one, loved this story. The prose flows very nicely, and I love the historical and pseudo-historical infodumps, in addition to having it from the point of view of an ornithologist. I'm a biology geek, and thus hugely biased, but it hit all the right buttons for me and I applaud the author for ...

Re: Drabblecast 335 - To Whatever
I discovered this podcast about two months ago and have been binge-listening ever since. This was one of the first stories I heard, but some 200 episodes later, it's still one of my favourites. It made me hungry for more, like some short stories are wont to do, and I will check out the author to see...

Re: Drabblecast 214 - The Wish of the Demon Achtromagk
I loved the xenofiction bits of this story. It was hardly a big plot point, but I appreciate the demon-POV and the descriptions of its alien senses and thoughts immensely. Xenofiction, or the aspects thereof, is one of my favourite features of Drabblecast and I'm always extra happy when something li...
