Re: Drabblecast 212 - Ancient Engines

Thanks, but I just don't see that happening much anymore. Without easy access to flipping through pages of updates or seeing a list of all updates like before, I don't imagine you are going to get quite the same level of new first time readers of backlog stories... I'm doing that. :( Also, I once a...

Re: Drabblecast 211 - At the End of the Hall

I didn't like this one, It may just be the story or the fact that I didn't like the voice actor, but it felt like the main character was an bitter old lady. My dad thought the same. I think this spoiled it for me, because when the robot came I didn't care. :? Me, too. I kept wondering why on earth ...

Bahahaha. This is awesome. I ask my parrot all the time if he knows he's descended from dinosaurs... I wasn't being serious.

Oh well... my voice is pretty shrill unless I've been up late drinking, so I'm out. ;)

Re: Dead Baby Power

I dunno, I've seen more than one asian horror flick including something along the lines of eating fetuses for youth/stamina so I wouldn't be surprised if this was just an old wive's tale jumbled up with urban legend.

I hope.

Re: Drabblecast 25 - The Worm Within by Vincent Eaton

So, I recently returned from a camping trip that started and ended with a 6 hour drive. In preparation of passing the time, I had downloaded some of the old archived episodes, of which this was one. I swear to god... I am not ashamed to say that I laughed so hard listening to this I thought I was go...

Re: Drabblecast 209 - Babyhead

I did enjoy this story, honestly I did. But is there something wrong with me that the most relatable character in this was the creepy boyfriend? He was pretty clearly a douche, but really? If you have horriffic babyheads growing in your garden, f#cking MOVE! I might move INTO a house with babyheads...

Re: Drabblecast 209 - Babyhead

I don't know what this says about me, but I wasn't creeped out by this story except for the skeezy boyfriend. In fact, I thought the idea of the babyheads was pretty cool.

But then I've used "puppyhead" as a nickname for my dogs for years.

He makes me starry-eyed, this man who meets me as I step out of the shower and yanks the tick off my back. True love, indeed.

Re: Drabblecast 202 / 203 - Boojum

Finally caught up to this one. I think I liked Boojum a bit better than Mongoose, but I do lurve me some Mi-Go so there was a bit of an unfair advantage. Also it didn't end up going quite where I expected which I always enjoy.

A Trio of Drabbles from a Newbie

I had always assumed the black dog would be cowardly in the face of danger. I was wrong. That night I found her back by the alley, barking and staring down what appeared to be a small child climbing over the fence. Yet no child would back down so silently and mechanically, would creep away so delibe...
