Re: Classics 05 (EP 029) - Code Brown

Just for the record, "Klugscheisser" would translate to "clever shitter." Which makes no more sense in German than it does in English.

Re: DIY Spaceship Repair (Asshole Samaritan Theme)

I hate to be that person, but attach is misspelled ( and that affects character count). I loved it and got the colorblind reference right away. It may not be 100% factually correct, but it's "common knowledge" and worked for me.

Re: Columbian vagina potato contraceptive complication

This story just makes me sad. Basically it's a home made diaphragm, which isn't completely crazy. But should be completely unnecessary with all the actual medical technology available.

Haunting. I immediately started building up my own story of how he must have died.

Re: Drabblecast 338 - The Crevasse

I am grateful for the warning about animal suffering. I don't think I could have stomached the story without the MC risking his life to put the lead dog out of his misery. After the focus left the dogs, I became invested in the story about the men. Then ... The story didn't so much end as peter out ...

I read and enjoyed this when it was first published. Norm's reading was great as usual.

Re: kinda insulted

Given that all bases covered is supposed to pander to all religions, why would it pander to atheists?

I for one consider myself at least agnostic, found it funny, and don't see any need to take offense. As my dad would say, fer cryin' out loud!

I didn't hear the story. Only the author comment over and over. Am I nuts?

Well .. I was more bugged by the credit card .. but it is your story, not mine! Perhaps in a universe where Magneto exists, Costco takes credit cards. Oooh or maybe he has a corporate account. I bet they use credit cards.

Suspension of disbelief issue for me - I've spent that amount and more at Costco;they don't blink an eye, and they don't allow credit cards.

Re: Drabblecast 333 - After the Cure

I do like zombie stories. Some of them. I liked this one very much, although I wasn't sure why this one in particular got an R from Norm.
