Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)
The cage is the one place it won't go. She sleeps there in its stale smells. Waiting for the return of morning and silence.

Re: Exactly 100 Words
I enjoyed the weird characters. It's intriguing to see what it builds to. I'd encourage more playing around with this type of drabble, it has a lot of potential.
Re: The Door
Ooo, I really like this one. The imagery is tantalizingly dark.

Re: Life's little pleasures
I liked Granny Smith. It let me know what kind if pies she was making. Sorry, cakes. Grandma Smith was subtle enough that it didn't distract, and it's an amusing name. I enjoy her description and character a lot and that just adds an extra bit of flavour. I like the Drabble, but I'm a little confuse...

Re: DIY Spaceship Repair (Asshole Samaritan Theme)
Oh, and I should mention that my very first drabble here was for the Good Samaritan Theme, so this definitely feels like a touchstone. I actually made it to mirror that one, which is called Bunking with Bovines.

Huh... I always assumed it was to do with making beef jerky. Or possibly a very violent method of laundry.

Re: Hitomi Can See You [Category: Halloween]
What I mean is the original started with introducing Hitomi, and then we saw the body. So we meet a character wanting to kill someone for their eyes, and she kills someone for their eyes, the end. Your definition states "If something is "cut and dry", it is said to be completed without debate, quest...

Re: Hitomi Can See You [Category: Halloween]
I do like the new order of the paragraphs. It feels more mysterious and less cut and dry. I still feel like the abrupt shift could be a more fluid transition - something connecting the scene to the legend, perhaps visual or sensual. You could go from the 'eyes' final line to Hitomi holding them, or ...

I believe Dirk Gently has a few audiobooks now (make sure you get the unabridged versions) and I know the Salmon of a Doubt is on audio, as that's how I came by it. Some should be available on Youtube, but I find just ordering the discs from the Library to be the easiest. They tend to have very good...

Re: DIY Spaceship Repair (Asshole Samaritan Theme)
I hate to be that person, but attach is misspelled ( and that affects character count). I loved it and got the colorblind reference right away. It may not be 100% factually correct, but it's "common knowledge" and worked for me. Don't worry, it's word count instead of character count here so no har...

Re: Trick or Treat (Halloween Theme)
That was amazing! The voices were done with such distinct character, and the music selection was really effective. Well done, Tibb, not even Norm could do better. I really appreciate how you took your time with the piece and let the horror build as well. Better than even I pictured it in my own head.

Hi tibbi! I came up with this while work on 'Space Puppies' but technically the dog was never in space, so I decided it didn't count. More space dogs in future.

Re: DIY Spaceship Repair (Asshole Samaritan Theme)
Thanks for the feedback, everyone. I actually did know that dogs see blue, and while I was relying on the stereotype of colourblind dogs, I find I can no longer perpetuate that stereotype. So Purple it is. Thanks for spelling catch, I guess I have to give up my notion of perfection. I did the change...

Re: DIY Spaceship Repair (Asshole Samaritan Theme)
I was riffing off the 'dogs are colour blind' trope. So while she knows what a qellezer puff is, she still can't tell what colour it is, meaning that that spaceship isn't getting very far. Did that come across?
