Re: Drabblecast 231 - Trifecta XX

Wow, it sure is different watching Hearty White than just listening! Both are so funny, but it really makes you appreciate the music Norm puts in on the Drabblecast version. This was my favorite Trifecta too, although I feel like I've said that a couple times before. Whit Carlson made almost no sens...

Re: Drabblecast 232 – Valentine’s Day With The Gods

Great drabble (but didn't Norm say he hated vampire fiction at some point?) The main story was awesome!! Perfect Valentines day present, whether you are bitter about the holiday or "lovey-dovey" as Norm said. In the end, it doesn't matter, the maw of the cold vast cosmos hangs open for all. I agree ...

Re: Drabblecast 186- Garkain by Samantha Henderson

As an Englishman living in Aus I've taken to the local weird folklore as only an outsider can, and this story really fits in with the 'real' stuff nicely. This story really did have a fantastic authenticity to it. The attention to little details was such a throwback to classical literature. A heavy...

Re: Drabblecast 185- Horror World 2025: Part II

Good job to everyone involved on this. It was a lot of fun to listen to and I can only imagine how much work it was for Norm with all the music, effects, editing and such. Definitely got me off my tail to donate! The only downer is that now I have to wait a whole other year for Cryptkeeper Norm's hi...

EEEP. That was spectacularly spooky. My favorite Sam Henderson story on the Drabblecast so far (but will always hold a special place in my heart for Starry Night.) Norm just killed this with the read and production, his spooky old trucker voice is second to none. I made the mistake of trying to list...

Re: Drabblecast 156- Going to the Chapel by Sandra Odell

That was great! I was highly entertained by the main story, although, like Scattercat, I did wonder about the alien life-cycle (hey, this is the Drabblecast, this type of thing matters the most!) I wasn't sure how him exploding got her pregnant, or if that was really the case. I only noticed this on...

I agree with my roomie, that was totally fantastic! This is the episode to sit back, totally undistributed, and marvel A. at how good Sarah Tolbert's reading is. B. How unbelievably professional Norm's productions of these stories are C. That this is a damn good story. A. She just nails it, I dunno ...

Re: Drabblecast 154 - Family Values by Sara Genge

I loved this one! I really wasn't expecting to, since it seemed so "proper" at first, but I was really sold, maybe it was the spectacular reading. I also liked the music a lot (Ravel? Good cello player). Felt like an alien Jane Austen wrote it and Tracy was Kiera Knightly. God, intro was hilarious. ...

That's when Manning throws 2 passed for 88 yards in 14 second for a TD. Zorlag's buddy Xenthar calls him up and excitedly delivers the news. Zorlag's eyes bulge and a blanket of nausea covers his body. Keeling over, he vomits with utter abandon. Sarlug hears the noise and rushes into the room...

Ok, this song is in my "favorites" itunes playlist set on shuffle, and I think I've heard it maybe 25 times since December, usually just as background music while I'm cleaning or something. So then I just realized today that the "doo doo doot doo" part right after the hilarious Mariah Carey line is ...

I think I peed my pants a little during that fake rpg promo. just checked. yep. great, thanks a lot Norm. :-) That was a cute little story and left me feeling warm and fuzzy inside. The warm might have been due to the pee, but the fuzzy was definitely Pratt all the way. Great job by Abbi and Mur too...

That was AMAZING. I agree, it did have an Alice in Wonderland feel, but much more dark. I went to try to vote for it but you have to be a member! :-(
I hope it wins, that was really great. The imagery was cool and the ideas really twisted, but also original. I liked internalogic's review.

There were 5 segments to that wonderful cylindrical mockumentary weren't there? I'd love to be able to get them all in one mp3 too.
