Re: Politico Beasts - Round 3 (The Finals)
bah! look for common ground? find a third option? that sounds like something the obomination would do (until he gets some balls from limbsaw). this ain't no pretty worded speech, this is the mega beast death match! two beasts enter, one beast leaves. your hurt feelings are left on the ground next to...

Re: Politico Beasts - Round 3 (The Finals)
"Outrage"? That was "outrage"? I guess you must not have heard much outrage in your life. italics and an expletive; how would you express outrage? maybe i haven't heard much or maybe you've heard too much, it's all relative. Is Obamanation fast enough to avoid the saw that many times? (Crush would ...

Re: Politico Beasts - Round 3 (The Finals)
you're using the wrong word for what you're trying to describe. hyperactive has a definition, this ain't it. same with manic.
relentless maybe, definitely workaholic (it's a little odd that you're outraged that he works during his vacation). i think what you're shooting for is overexposed.

Re: Politico Beasts - Round 3 (The Finals)
i'm not sure that hyperactive is a word i'd use for Obama. during his speeches i usually spend my time trying to guess what what he's going to say next. before the next considered pause. in the battle, neither beast seems likely to hurt the other. there's no way that limbsaw would be able to connect...

Re: The New Look Forums
the memberlist puts the ratio around 15:1 if those numbers are any more comforting but there's probably very little left to teach the male members about bitch fighting. listen to mbdmii for case in point.

Re: The New Look Forums (Addendum)
it would have been handier to see a screenshot of an actual thread (profile left or right? icons used? etc) but the poll already seems pretty conclusive.

these aren't really megabeasties anyway, a different weight class entirely. though that could be kinda funny, throwing a completely outclassed animal into one of the rounds. ladies and gentlemen! your contestants this round: ripshred - the strength of a rhino with an unforgiving hide of razorwire, b...

you're mixing your metaphor but you're also making a very basic mistake about how natural selection works so i'll concentrate on the more fundamental mistake. natural selection favours traits that will result in the most offspring for a particular environment. if the environment changes so that phys...

as others pointed out, this isn't a new concept. i'm not sure why it's suddenly thrust into the spotlight because an aging theoretical physicist mentioned it. and as also mentioned here, the majority of the disagreement is the result of a difference in definition. a strict biological definition of e...
