i wasn't expecting this one to get negative feedback. i thought it was right up dc's alley; very black-and-white-animals-esque. the title, content, tone, all of it. it didn't present the killer ducks as a surprise or a twist really, which turned out great because in DC you're conditioned to expect t...

i mentioned a series of 'flash fiction' horror stories in a post a while ago about Masters of Horror. one of them- "Homecoming" was actually about zombies voting. fallen vet soldiers reanimated on memorial day, and there was havoc world wide- people were freaking out and shooting them, and it isnt t...

the ending didn't ruin the story for me per-se, cause i still really liked it as a whole, it was just disappointing cause there were so many really great resolutions it could have had that would have fit better. i think i recant my statement at this point, after seeing the amount and depth of discu...

if this isn't the most drabble-newsworthy post i've ever seen, i don't know what it is i've been seeing. the idea of a toothpick/earwax pick combo utensil qualifies it alone, but as an ancient golden artifact, valued at over $100,000?? cmon. i can just hear the intense zoom-in sound effect with norm...

my only other complaint was an odd overuse of the word "takionic." I believe you mean "tachyonic." :P blast, this is not the first time i've been called out on my spelling in these forums. for all the perks of podcasts and audiobooks, one edge printed stories will always have is the ability ...

i just took a copyright law class- finished a couple weeks ago. but you may want to wait till grades come out to decide if you want to listen to anything i say. the song would pass as a parody of the references involved but my understanding is using actual clips would technically be an infringement-...

like most here, i mirror aynsavoy's comment. i picked up on the thick fo-douglas-adamsyness of it from the start which put a bad taste in my mouth, but then it got extremely creative with the particular adventures of bleerbo- i mean there were some really fantastic ideas in there; and i began to rea...

Okay, this needs to become one of those "viral" things that everyone on the whole internet ends up listening to. i was thinkin this too while listening, but it occured to me that there's no such thing as "viral songs" on the interwebz. they always have an animation to go along with it, no matter ho...

*I should probably disclose that I study film to a certain degree and am currently taking a class on Modern American Horror films...As you can imagine, the elimination of the Hays Code (internal blanket censorship to pre-empt external censorship) and the instigation of the current ratings system ha...

i liked them all. i didn't get kisses until reading the forum, now i like it a lot more. warmth of the sun was probably my favorite, because of all the brilliant 1 liners. moustache was great but it reminded me too much of that episode of The Tick- anyone remember that? he gets a moustache and falls...

I don’t know, I sort of liked this one. I feel like I always say that- maybe I’m just easy to please. I liked the lack of 'ending' ending, because I thought it was set up to have a pretty predictable 'they get back late, they're drunk, skeptical nay-saying friend talking about destroying the sculptu...

Norm is short for Norman. and "Norman Sherman" is pretty much the most ridiculous, absurdly stupid name i've ever heard. which makes it suit him as much as the norm al irony. Gnarls Barkley is close though, because silent G's are just downright silly. as far as the norm sherman vs. steve eley intros...

man, what's wrong with you people?? this story was awesome. i loved it. no, stephen king has never combined superpowers and zombies. and i dont know about the logical flaws. first, it's a zombie piece so willful suspension of disbelief takes over to an extent. even still, it doesn't get too in depth...
