Utter Chaos

Another from my blog Drabbling Daily . Utter Chaos “But, it’s insane!” “Hey, it’s not our job to ask questions. The big guy says go, we go.” “But is this really sort of job you joined up with the CIA to do?” “Frankly, I’d rather not think of it. Here, take this.” He handed me a canister of insectici...

Here's a test to prove it: Go on google, search for the thread "Local news," then look at the sponsored link at the top. For me it links one of the Seattle TV stations' news page; so long as someone's bought that ad space in your market, you'll see similar.

This probably needs to be taken into account... judging by the mantle-to-tentacle proportions in the art, SV seems to be a Colossal rather than an Architeuthis . If comic books teach us anything, it is that even with all the weaponry in the world, a 99-pound weakling (or a half-ton one) will still ...

I will probably be crucified for posting this here...

I almost hesitate to post this among such a pro-squid community, but the truth must out:

I know it was a silly story, but it took itself just a little too seriously, and I had a very hard time willingly suspending disbelief long enough to listen through to the end. Pu doesn't glow green, and the only mutations it might cause in an exposed badger would be numerous terminal malignant tumo...

20,000

This is from my blog, Drabbling Daily , where I write a drabble or a droubble (200 words) every day for some reason that's becoming less and less clear even to me, and I thought it fit the sensibilities here: 20,000 “So I don’t know if it was bird strike or what, but the plane’s engine was seriously...

Probably zZzacha would be first to experience the weirdness, due to proximity, not to mention the weird creatures would probably want to shop for pharmaceuticals in Amsterdam before crossing the Atlantic, plus their attraction to awesomeness. Knowing how much it can hurt to be bit by a Humboldt (not firsthand, thankfully), not surprised it's one of the hardest substances.

And the guy at the end? Didn't he feel like a living Dave Chapelle character?

Well, it looks like I'm all alone on this oen, but I didn't care for the sitcom angle. And I'm going to differ from a lot of people in saying that I don't think it's in the tradition of Drabblecast so far. Sure, the heavy production has always been one of DC's oddball strengths, but for the most par...

A second week in a row of some very strange production choices. The whole theme-song and intro on this one were a total flop for me, I'm afraid. The story itself was nothing special, but the intro had me listening to the whole thing with a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm not talking cockroach.

Pinkish and weird is the way she dress
Long pointy nose and her teeth's a mess
But on Halloween night at the costume ball
She's a goblin shark and she can gobble it all...
