Re: MB3 - R5 - The Finals

Reference to Norm's song Rutabaga. If you want to listen to it, buy his CD. If you want to listen to it for free, it's ep 7. http://gardenstreet.org/drabblecastarchive/archivemp3/150mp3_files/a4035cf194e107f994cb466c99521696-6.php OK. Norm's officially a very strange person. But Rutabaga is an awes...

Re: Apocalypse

I don't know if they practice controlled burning in California. Might violate some 2nd-hand smoke law. I'm pretty sure the anti-smoking bleeding hearts are lobbying against controlled burns out here. They've already banned smoking in some cities, which I think is unfair and a violation of human rig...

Re: Apocalypse

Actually, I think closer study will reveal that half of the thread was a serious discussion of modern forestry techniques and etymology. I'll leave it to Algernon to explain what he entendred. Oh, yeah, sure. Thanks for clearing that up, Strawman. Clearly you aren't over the fire department in LA, ...

Re: Announcing the Weekly Tw(itter)-(Dr)abble Contest!

[ First drabblecast post and you knock one out of the ballpark with a Twit-fic that, were I in charge, would be this weeks winner!!! O.O << those are google eyes, not a numeric rating on the twit-fic, the twit-fic earns a perfect 10 from this unofficial judge... *Blush* Thanks ROU Killing Time! :)

Re: Apocalypse

Welcome to the forum. It's always nice to have some fresh blood around, and with brains. Thanks so much! I only recently found The Drabblecast, but I've now listened to every episode not in archives and am working on getting the archived stuff out of it's dusty little storage space and onto my iPod...

Re: Apocalypse

(1) This is a "wall" of text -- very off-putting. Add paragraph breaks My excuses for bad formatting are: I'm new and I was so excited to get the story to 100 words (and not an infuriating 101) that I just posted it. So…thanks for the advice! In future, I'll format better. :) (2) The title is too v...

Apocalypse

When the zombie apocalypse came, no one noticed. The living were too busy staring at holos and using recreational drugs to pay attention to the shambling dead. The zombies decided the living should show more interest, so they recorded their activities, posting everything online. They set up newscast...
