the cookie i could have beat - @)) Drabble

The cookie i could have beat? by Morgan Olson "Are these cookies I have been eating,” I wondered all night? The texture of crackers that set out for a fortnight. The funny red glow that spoke with a Russian accent. "Eat John, not me, comrade" as it rumbled the cracks in my head So I chose the gray c...

Re: Destroy Portland

I really liked Eugene - it didn't rain as much as Seattle. Makes me wonder if there's a correlation between spending one's younger years in wet climates and drabbling. I've heard that it's rainy in England too. The only time I was there I was passing through Heathrow. The skies were gray, somewhat ...

Dammit. That's what I get for trusting Chrome to spell check for me. Twice. it is not as good yet as other spell checking software but unless you want to always have office open, copy paste back and forth and Chrome is pretty darn good. it is kind of like i like a corperation that makes thin...

Re: Destroy Portland

While only 2 blocks away from the art museum i am sure i would not hear it over the protesters at Ungar Fur. There is now a civil noise abatement against them but they seem to have good lawyers. In the mean time i can take a nap in the afternoon. nice Drabble.

Re: Drabblecast 136- The Great Old Pumpkin by John Aegard

i listened to this while i had H1N1 and drifted in and out while it was playing. it gave me Charlie Brown nightmares. i listened to it again while not sick and was amazed that a new fairy tale could be re told in a way that brought new depth to Charlie Brown. i struggle to call it a fan fiction, bec...

Re: Dear Lord

We are about to face the wicked and unwashed evil that is our enemy, and our competition. i enjoyed your Drabble and i am saying something about the idea of unwashed evil and not a criticism of your word choice or imaginary. It really gets on my nerve about saying being unwashed is evil or at least...

Well, I'll deflect Algernon's dragging silly things like "logic" into this by pleading a genre of fantasy/horror. I don't believe you have to preface it is Fantasy/Horror because you already did. They moved on to the realms of geometry. It would be similar for me to say i was the ruler of the realm...

Re: There are more fish in the sea

Welcome to the forums. Is English your native tongue? (Just wondering.) Interesting drabble. Almost a cross between a fairy tale and a Tom Clancy story... Is the carp a terrorist or a freedom fighter? :P BTW, I only count 96 words, not 100. (Or 1096, if you count the picture.) thanks for cat...

There are more fish in the sea (Part 1) @)) Drabble

“An explosive device rocked the normally quiet sea side market this morning, 9 confirmed dead, many hurt” I heard the news caster say. the officer glared down his nose at me and said. “So a talking fish asked you to sell him dynamite yesterday?” “i never expected the Carp to bomb the market.” I hear...
