Re: Favorite BM Villain Actor

Gorshin all the way. I laugh just thinking about that skinny little dude in his skin-tight outfit jumping around the room. Weird, wild stuff.

Human-eating Eagles

It was a bit more exciting trying to get by in days of yore before some of these mean, crazy, huge animals went extinct. Islands are apparently a good place to look for cool fossils.

Re: GOOD NEWS TURNS BAD

Yeah, what the hell is wrong with these "all caps" people? I work with someone that sends her emails in all caps, you would think that getting email from 50 other people every day that is formatted normally would be a hint that typing in all caps is idiotic. Nope.

Re: Drabble Reviews Blog

Movies over the Summer : District 9 (see, worship, proselytize) 9 (leave before the last 5 minutes, go home, write your own ending - it'll be better than theirs) Really? I thought the very end (as in the last 90 seconds) was the best part of the movie. The shot of alien Wikus making a flower for hi...

Re: Drabblecast 128- The End of the Universe by Eugie Foster

I'm usually hit or miss with Eugie Foster, some of her stuff is just so far out there that it goes over my head. I liked this one and the production was top notch as always.

I agree with Phenopath, this one was great and is now in my crowded group of drabblecast favs. Just cool all the way around.

Re: More Dead Chupacabras!

It appears that it is a coyote with a skin condition. The Wikipedia bit about the chupacabra makes it sound like this awesome, unearthly killing machine. The critters that they keep trying to pass as monsters these days are pretty lame.

Agreed! Good sci-fi movies on the big screen are a rare commodity and this was a fun summer ditty with a message here and there and cool alien technology. I wanted to take the little prawn home with me, he was a cute little bugger.

The People of Sand and Slag by Paolo Bacigalupi This short story is probably a bit long for a drabblecast but it was bizarre and creeped me out. Plus there is a raggedy dog in it and that gets me every time. It is in this anthology http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLeY-JSRJXE&feature=player_embedded

Cool story. Didn't feel like a Drabblecast story, but that was OK. It was a creepy ride and those of us that have gone through what the protaganist did have to wonder what it would be like to have loved ones still around in a sense. Not sure if that would be such a good thing.

Loved this one. Cutesy and funny until the drabblecastesque twist which turned the story in to a tragedy. Reminded me of the funny little toasts that were in the Zippy the Pinhead cartoons years ago, the only difference being the Zippy toasts sprang back to life with "special effects" after being st...

Coolio! Ants will someday take over just like the Borg.

As far as Hoppy goes, I love how the news reporters made a big deal about a cat that acts like a cat. And the pansy grown man that was "forced to the ground" by a 19 year old cat? He needs to grow a couple, what a disgrace to humanity.

Cool! Speaking of backgrounds, I was going to ask you if I could use the Darwin toast as my background.

Since the weiner crash happened in Wisconsin I would bet that there are a few Pabst Blue Ribbon empties on the floor of that thing.

And Fox has now removed the original story and replace it with one that makes it clear that the robot is a vegetarian. Too bad, I was thinking of donating my body to the war cause to be used as fuel for the ass-kicking robots.

Is that a weinermobile in your house, or are you just happy to see me? Not really Drabblely but I couldn't resist this story.

Giant Squid Invade San Diego

Some giant squid are harrassing humans in the waters off San Diego. Leave us humans alone you giant freaks! So much good stuff in this story. My favorite encounter was the one described by the guy on Page 2 - "the squid kept hitting the back of my head." I picture a giant squid swatting a little man...
