But he also addresses a topic we've discussed before: The idea of clonin...

New Spider Species Make Decoys

I'm not kidding or anthing.

Personally I welcome our new arachnid overlords.

Seriously, the more I read about what spiders can do, the more I'm grateful they're not cat-sized.

Sleep Tight (holiday themed)

'Twas the night before Christmas, And throughout the house Creature was stirring Eating louse, mouse and spouse. Nary a soul was safe From tentacle’d grasps, Pulling all from their beds To scream their last gasp. Naughty or nice, Creature does not care, It’s boys, girls and parents Creature seeks to...

20 Tons of Human Cells and Growing...

I just heard about Henrietta Lacks and had to do some research. To be short, Miss Lacks died of a very malignant cancerous tumour in 1951, but the tumour, which was excised at her death, is still alive and growing. Seriously. It's in hot demand across the globe, still, for a harvest able sou...

Vampire dinos!

Or vampire, parrot dinos to be more exact.

"It looks like a fanged vampire parrot," he told the Guardian. "And it probably had bristles, too. So it was a bristled, vampire parrot-like dinosaur."

Scientists fine galaxy that shouldn't exist

Looks like Spock was wrong. Apparently you can break the laws of physics. The galaxy was present in the early universe, about 3 billion years after the Big Bang, at a time when galaxies were still forming and normally looked clumpy and irregular. I for one welcome our.... whateverthehellitisthatwill...
