Re: Forget About Towel Service

Beautifully absurd! And the title is like a nice little hat tip to the late great Douglas Adams.

Re: Nightmare

No news is good news. Also, every silver lining has a dark cloud. The narrator should be glad for what she's got...

Nice to see a fantasy/fairy-tale type of Drabble, not enough of those. This one produces a nicely creepy atmosphere.

Re: We Apologize For Any Inconvenience

The irony is that this one just about borders on nonfiction. Oh well, we must endure a few glitches now and again if we are to have total security.

The title's awesome! You can just hear the narrator saying "Back to the drawing board..."

I like this one! Understated and wryly humorous.

Re: By the Time I Got to Work...

Evocative. I kinda felt the same way, one time -- I stopped my car to let a deer cross the road, turned off my headlights to calm it, waited. Then a semi truck came barreling over the hill, didn't see it or didn't care, completely creamed it. I felt like I had lured it to its doom...

Sad but true. Pretty deft work to fit a complex sociological commentary into 100 words. Nice work!

Like it! It leverages a lot of unsaid things in order to give _both_ the characters depth. Very effective. And the title is a perfect capstone!
