Re: Worrywart

I did this one, too, but I'm not sure it's all that great. themorg will probably do a lot better.

I might enlist the aid of my wife, though. She would make a great Mr. Oates...

Re: My First Drabble

I'll record this one. It's great!

I'm thinking Agent Smith for this.

"Do you hear that, Mr. Anderson? That is the sound of 14 people yelling for you to turn off that d***ed phone."

"The name is, uh, hold on, I gotta get this...Hello?"

My First - Footprints in the Sand

At the end of my time on Earth, I found myself walking along the shore with my Lord. Looking back, I saw two sets of footprints marking my life. At certain points, though, I noticed that there was only one set of prints. “Lord, why did you leave me at those times?” I asked. My Lord sighed and shook ...

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

I think a thread where we can post "I just read X" would work. That way, nothing is tied up, and the mod can then say "We've got 17 of those. Send it, but it'll be a while. Read something else." What I don't want is this to become a competition. If someone beats me to a reading, then they should get...

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Our normal procedure, if it can be called "normal," is to post "dibs on [story] by [whoever]" in the thread if we're not going to be able to do the story that instant. Dibs wouldn't work for me. I decide in the "studio" which story I'll be reading, and usually will be doing multiple stories in one ...

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Even if you guys had a place to post about recording, I didn't check. I just went into the "studio" and did it. And three others. One of those got trashed. Crap, CRAP I SAY! Not the story, mind you. The reading. CRAP! Already submitted the others, so we'll see. They were "Nor Hope for Heaven Nor Fea...

Re: Fan Cast (Dribblecast Decision Making)

Tom, I didn't make any changes to Becoming A Man after posting it. It's possible that there were some minor differences in the read. It's not unusual. If there were ANY changes, they were unintentional. I don't edit, I read. If it's wrong, I read it wrong. I had to change how some words were ...
