I had this idea, or something similar before! Not quite, but close, so my idea is still valid if I want to use it {;0)

Sure, I'll chip in, I'll email you.

You picked up some of what I feel, Chivalrybean (not about this story, but just in general). I think with stories that have twists (like many on the Drabblecast), figuring out the twist early doesn't affect my enjoyment of the story as long as the writing is good. I guessed what was coming at the e...

As soon as the hillbilly said his wife had an accident, I guess correctly that the story would end with the Doc having a sizzle in his brain and a voice in his head telling him to go kill his wife. This got me thinking... is a story 'bad' if you figure it out? My mind was already in this frame becau...

My thoughts on the stories in a long version. Kisses - Hmm, crappy place to live, hmm, this guy dreams a lo... oh yuck! Pleh, eww icky gross! Warmth of the Sun - My thoughts matched most of Keanu Reeves' lines from The Matrix, i.e. Huh? What? What? Huh? My Moustache - What in the flying shaving foam...

Yeah, it hasn't happened often, at all, on Drabble Cast, other than the one I mentioned. The mixing is generally top notch, so it was the only thing I could think of to complain about {:0p

Sound

One thing that doesn't work for me is sound. Just kidding. Seriously though, having a really loud sound is bad. I gots thems little speakers shoved in my ears and if a sound is significantly loud, like a phone ringing (was it on the Eggs story? I listened to so many stories today, I forgot which it ...

I heard the EP and this story on the same day since I am plowing through the archives.

I liked the EP one better for reasons stated above. This one was obvious. Not bad, just obvious.

I'm a big fan of Lovecraft- this story very much fits that old form. Narrator runs into a strange circumstance or person, becomes obsessed with trying to figure things out and when he does he gets himself in trouble. They are usually set up like this, as if being interviewed. It's a great formula (...
