Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

Yes, death and oblivion are the immediate result of marriage. Everyone knows that. But why does no one ever ask what the hell "Once upon a time" means?

O, yeah, and Welcome to the forearm!

Interesting. Betcha the old mast-makers union was responsible for steamers continuing to sport masts and sails. "As a back-up, Admiral, just in case the coal gets wet."

Re: Cinderella's Transgender Ball

I never considered how a monarch cultural perspective alters the Cinderella story. But now I realize there's actually a close parallel between Princess Di and Kim Kardashian. The Fairy godmother grants celebrity until the stroke of midnight. And then there's the "feminine attire for all" angle, whic...

Re: Your Move

Just imagine a novel as an expanded version of the original story of Darren and Frank, in which they arrive at the final power tool scene from both perspectives ...

Please see: http://www.drabblecast.org/2009/05/06/drabblecast-113-charlie-the-purple-giraffe-was-acting-strange-by-david-d-levine/) The thought that cartoon characters are the product of mental illness is sort of ipso facto. It's what makes cartoons funny. Robin Williams was like the incarnation of ...

You have my permission. But to balance that out, you probably should also start writing a silent novel.

Re: Post your Twitfic Twabbles Here! (General Content)

As a fellow insomniac, I found it interesting that there's a parallel between "last man alive" and "last man awake". This in turn reminds me of the Talmud, which asks why the human race was created as a single human being, as opposed to creating many people at once (like the animals which were creat...

My impression was the last paragraph might be a very good twabble which is very well prefaced by the balance of the Drabble.
Thank you for the nice meditation on a subject about which there is too much silence. Both kinds.
