It looks like his face is melting. Maybe he's had so much Charlie sheen drug that he is metamorphosing into some kind of telepathic, space bending, Guild navigator. Or perhaps it's just the all tiger blood. Humm, I wonder if norm could do a Mongolian death worm sequel where Bono and Charlie sheen ba...

By back to the future standards we are only 4 years away.

If you think blade runner had it right we are only 8 years off.

I think the main problem is all those spider infestations.

Re: Incredibly Enthusiastic Maths

I am going to have to plead ignorance regarding this, im very much on the "wow I suck at maths" side of things. Once they have to start introducing exclamation marks and hebrew letters into maths Im well beyond any hope of understaning what is going on. in an unrealted link- http://xkcd.com/864/" on...

Re: Incredibly Enthusiastic Maths

Reading back I now feel like I'm on that Charlie sheen drug where your face melts and your children weep over your exploded remains.

Still. I think the world is a better place for containing such people who get as excited by pure maths as I did watching Ulysses 31 as a child.

Re: Incredibly Enthusiastic Maths

Hi asid- Despite my PhD in f element chemistry I know very little pure maths. However a friend of mine is a professor of pure maths at the university of liverpool. I ran this video by her and she said ( I don't know what the interweb code for a Russian accent is, but it sounds much better if you can...

But seriously, very interesting podcast and worth 20 mins of your day.

Strawman, I think you answered your own question there.

Incidentally, Im just watching Bruce Lee in fist of fury and he seems to be eating a roast dog in a grave yard.

No one ever talks about Bruce lee's penchant for roast dog do they?

Zombie Style Kung Fu!

Being interested in martial arts, I was discussing such things with a good friend of mine who studies adaptive martial arts, a derivative of Jeet Kune Do. I had mentioned that the best defence I had ever learned against an experienced grapples-and-holds wrestler- was a good hard bite. To my amazemen...
