The poker game: Ethical or unethical?

Tweedy, it's just a story. Who cares?

Loved the drabble.

The main story had some good suspense and Norm did a slamin' job with the sound effects. I felt like I was sitting at the table.

And don't you just love a story with a happy ending. I know I do.

I liked the Drabble too, especially since the kids like it. Raise up a child in the way he should go, and when he grows old, he shall not depart from it. Kinda like The First Tee for little Dribblecasters.

The drabble was delightful and cute, and "All In" wasn't bad, either. I'm glad it had a happy ending. As happy an ending as a story about gambling for body parts can have, anyway . . .

Drabble feedback

Post by Gligstith(click)optok » Wed Jul 30, 2008 5:58 pm

Thank you for the kind feedback on the drabble.

I expected it might lead to some discussions on the nature of the universe and the motives of God. I implied that God is just doodling and doesn’t really care about his creation or what comes next.

But I am happy with it being a delightful and cute story that young children like. :)

Don't see what's unethical about it. Well, ok, maybe in some situations, but if the technology was regulated and people could donate their own body parts to save loved ones, as described in the story, that would be amazing.

Cool concept and great narration.

Classic weird fiction, as a lot of DC stories are - I think part of why I like these stories is that they rarely rely on classic monsters/tropes and try to take reality and just twist it in a new/weird way. Fun.
