Wow, that was just great. Read the story probably 15 years ago so when I saw it downloading I was pretty excited. The production and artwork were fantastic. There have been so many great shows but this one was tops.

Congrats Norm! What a wonderful story to celebrate episode 200. It doesn't seem that long ago when you were accused of spamming the EA forums.

Seriously, the hard work and dedication you and the rest of the Drabblecast crew puts forth reflects in the large following you have.

Keep up the good work!

P.S. I downloaded the 19 Action News album tonight--thanks for the recommendation.

Jon

Had to sign up to the forum just to say thankyou for episode 200. The Last question has been one of my favourite stories since I was a kid and it was a real treat to have heard it so well produced.
Keep 'em coming.

Another long time listener, first time poster.

Welcome aboard.

Only just got round to listening to this one (I tend to run a couple of months behind, which usually results in Halloween at Christmas, and Christmas in summer), but it was well worth the wait. It was awesome, really well done on this one Norm! It helps that I love classic Sci-fi I'll admit, but this was fracking amazing, and probably would have started making me love it :)

Awesome work by everyone else involved as well though - the artwork rocked, and all the voices were amazing.

Anyway, now I'm running out of synonyms for brilliant, and feeling a little sycophantic. Besides if you receive too much praise you might decide to rest on your laurels :P

I having started working my way forward from the iTunes-available episodes (starting from just before Halloween). I got to this one and was so effbombing impressed, that I made a donation and then joined the forums (priorities). I've got a friend that tends to tell me frequently that his 'mind was blown' by this, that and the other (Jurassic Park is his scariest movie and he single-handedly introduced a whole town to LSD), but this is the first time that I could say that I had a mind-blowing experience. Really, really, really masterfully done.

Uh...since that last little bit of Norm and Mur is a one minute sub-clip in the mp3...can anyone edit that climax into a new file and make it available for download? Pretty please?

Every time I download this (now three times) I only get the introduction and the first Fit, with Big and Rish and a tad of the next Fit. I've tried it through ITunes and through the website.
Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong and how to get the entire episode?

Well that's not good! So if you go here:
http://www.drabblecast.org/2011/03/11/d ... ac-asimov/
and right-click on "Download" under the player, then select "Save file" or "Download linked file", whatever comes up in your browser? The file should play for 50min and 40sec.
I just did this, and it came through.

Does the file pretend to be that big, but just have blank space?

Weird...
I downloaded it and put it into Movie Maker (yea I know it's lameness. Get off my back, you Mac-Attackers) and only the first part of the show showed up as audio info. It was there, just not visible.

Thanks for the quick response, though. I wish ITunes was as helpful, but again, Mac stuff doesn't play nice with non-Mac stuff.

Right now, we've got 5 people waiting to help, because they can't afford to leave the basement. Once we get as successful as iTunes, I expect Drabblecast's service will be equally crappy. :)

There shouldn't be any mac / non-mac problems here. (famous last words)
Did the MP3 download I mentioned above work at all?

Let's see if your iTunes feed's copy is corrupted. Here is a zip file of the M4A.
