I think what we can take from this, is that the Drabblecast asks so little, that people don't even notice when it's gone.

Does anyone happen to know why my forum posts have a little gold figure by my name? Is that for staff members or something? Just curious.

Re: Drabblecast 226 - The Heroics of Interior Design

I don't see it under yours!Christi wrote:Yeah, mine has that too. We must be real important!!
So maybe everybody has it marking their own posts in case you forget who you are? I sense an after-school-special message coming about how we all think we're alone, but we're all in this together (or something).
Re: Drabblecast 226 - The Heroics of Interior Design

It shows who's online at the moment. With that understanding, re-read that exchange and it's quite funny!

Haha, good stuff. I thought I was special or something!tbaker2500 wrote:It shows who's online at the moment. With that understanding, re-read that exchange and it's quite funny!
I had kind of the inverse of that at another forum not too long ago. Many of the topics had stars next to them, but none of the threadsI started EVER had stars next to them. I thought it might be a sign that my threads were too lame to merit a star. So I asked about it, and it turns out that the forum puts a star next to any thread that the logged in user has NEVER viewed before. And, of course, it's impossible to make a thread without viewing it, so therefore, no one ever sees a star next to their own thread.

Okay, I didn't create an account here until after the comments on this story were just a bit too far back, but now that it is the top of the page I don't mind posting:
Favorite Drabblecast Ever! And I love the artwork. And the drabble was fun too. And Norm was particularly hilarious for some reason. But this story is right up there with Doctor Horrible for tragic, amazingly well-written super-villain origins/deconstructions.
