Soldiers and Eggs

Post by TenserQ » Mon Feb 22, 2010 12:26 am

Long time listener, first time poster.

A soft boiled egg sits perched upon a water bottle lid. The top has been taken off, the soft, yellow yoke is visible within the peaks of white. A lone soldier of multigrain origins is forced by a large hand to walk up to the egg and dive in, screaming all the while. Repeatedly his head is shoved beneath the yoke, he has but a second of air before pushed back in. Pulled out suddenly he is then dashed off to the white incisors that rip him apart. How is this a noble death for a piece of toast?

Welcome, and welcome.

Yes, once again, toast gets the short-shrift. (Although the egg didn't fair so well either...)

Post early and often, they don't seem to mind.

Welcome to the forums.

That was fun, and it finished with a philosophical question.
