Our Anecdote for The Devil

Post by Travelin Corpse Feet » Wed Jul 14, 2010 4:06 am

I actually saw him in hell, was the funny thing. Old Chuck Smith. Fired my gun, he fired his. Bullets flew and we each caught one another in the gut. Middle of nowhere and no help to be found, so I just crawl over to him and cuss in his ear. I say to him, “You bastard; I’ll see you in hell!” He just mutters and sputters and dies.
But now that we’re down here it seems kinda laughable. I mean, he’s laughing. And, well, so am I. We shake hands. What a story we got for these red-bellied demons.

Hey, Mr. Feet. Would you mind if I read this for the Dribblecast?

Thanks, man. Do you have a website, blog, or other thing you'd like me to link to when I post the episode? Also, if you have a twitter account I can make sure that gets a nod when the story goes up.

I'm twitterless, blogless and website-less. I'd like to hear it though. I guess just post a reply here when it's up.

Nice. Gotta love putting it to the man. Or the devil in this case.

Cool. :)

Dreamrock, did you do the reading? The stuff after the story sounded like the reader was a little high. :D

I do most of my own voices when I produce a Dribblecast episode, including all the voices in this episode. The closing tag was ... somewhat improvised. If I recall correctly, I think I was trying to go for "possessed." Utter failure to achieve the effect I was going for, but I'm not unhappy with the results.

Anyway, I wasn't high, on medication, or otherwise impaired. :o

EDIT: For clarification, I should note that I only produce some of the Dribblecast episodes. Anyone can produce one, and they're free to produce any Drabblecast Forum content they want to providing the writer approves. :D
