Famine, War, Earl Tucker, Death

Post by Travelin Corpse Feet » Tue Dec 07, 2010 6:21 pm

Plague stared, shocked, at the notice in his gangrenous hand.
“Replaced with…who?” he rasped.
“Earl Tucker,” boomed Death. “Amazing prospect. Great measurables. Ran a 4.4 40 and did 28 bench reps. Recorded seventeen sacks last year, injured twelve opponents and ruined three careers. He’s personally made a lot of people very unhealthy.”
“What about me?” asked Plague.
“You’ll still have a role on special teams. Flu season, and so forth.
Plague nodded. He tried not to weep as a young man in a football uniform took off with his horse, which snorted as if Plague had never been its master.
A story of love, lust and violence and a man in a jam.

Ha! Did Plague get traded? Will Plague be on the starting lineup of the San Diego Chargers next season, or does he have to start with an expansion team first?
