An Eternity of Thursday

Post by CLP » Fri Feb 11, 2011 4:41 pm

It has been Thursday for so long.

I have survived off vending machine food and SoBe Lifewater. No one else seems to notice. They chat on their phones, clickity-clack on their computers, sip sludge coffee.

My beard is so long now. It’s been Thursday for weeks, maybe months; there is no way to tell in the constant cool white light. When it should be nighttime, I attempt to sleep under my desk, but the incessant phone ringing inhibits me.

My boss accosts me, “Bill you look awful. Make yourself more presentable tomorrow, or else…”

Oh, if only there was tomorrow.

And that is why Cthulhu is important, kids. Yesterday would be forever if he didn't rise each night to devour it and wipe the altar clean.

Oh, I like the idea that Cuthulu devours time, has swallowed last year, yesterday, and a minute ago he started desert.
