River and Sky

Post by ROU Killing Time » Fri Jun 03, 2011 6:26 pm

Information glimmered in the forests around him as messages streamed and splashed around his boots.

He walked forward and upwards, ascending the mountains of data and inspecting each pebble along the path.

The air around him grew thin while archival clouds formed like phantoms of gray and silver mist, beckoning him before dissipating and leaving him alone.

Taking wing, he flew above it all towards the great galactic whirlpool that held all that had been or been said.

One day he would find it.

That letter that she had sent him so long ago.

The letter that he had lost.

If it helps it to be less depressing, I'll be eternally grateful to have learned, for certain, that true wealth is contained in the most ephemeral of things. I cherish the memory of every single word we exchanged. The search for the lost letter is an attempt to express just how precious all those exchanges are now, as I seek the strength to continue on, knowing that the conversation in this lifetime is complete.

For all the sadness I'm facing, the truth remains. I may well be the luckiest soul on this forum.

The rumors you may have heard are all true.

Ok, that's sweet.

I've not experienced love like that, so I'll take your word for it. On the other hand, I'm available, so if anybody in the area wants to help me learn... :-)
