Meta-Drabble (hopeless romantic)

Post by Squishbot » Wed May 14, 2014 12:36 am

Dave posted his first 100 word story and it was an instant success! By noon there were over 3000 viewings in the forum and countless comments of praise and admiration, readers writing for him to post more! Soon e-mails were coming in from publishers offering thousand-dollar deals for book contracts, Michael Crichton himself called to ask if he could have the honor of writing the forward for the first—
Dave snapped back to reality and reviewed his story. He sighed as he closed the file without saving it, put in his earphones and continued listening enviously to other people’s stories.
