Emerson Lake and Palmer

Post by unseentangerine » Sat Jun 14, 2014 6:46 am

Officer Palmer drove down the long, gravel road to Emerson Lake. It was the humidity that made the 101 degree day run slow.
A cloud of dust caught up with him as he slowed and stopped his old Bronco near the water. In the reeds and grasses near the water's edge, it held a body (two dripping boys had run into town to report it). It was bloated, pallid and of a young woman.
Palmer sighed heavily, “Not again.”
He hefted from his vehicle another girl, and waded into the lake.
“I hope this offering is accepted,” he thought.

Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.
