The Veteran of the Psychic War

Post by unseentangerine » Sat Aug 09, 2014 8:10 am

Haven't been dazzled by the unseentangerine in a while? The short version is: met, engaged, broken up with. I want to take this opportunity to brag that Blue Oyster Cult is playing in my town at the end of August and it's free at the county fair. So there! Enjoy.

“Untold ages ago, cities were on flame with rock and roll. The Godzilla grimaced purposefully. It was the folly of man. But then came the Reaper,” orated priestess Joan Crawford. All in attendance slurped one back. “I once met the Reaper. I have risen from the grave.” She turned to the bound and drugged man. “I'm burnin' for you!,” she exclaimed. “C'mon, take me way!” he replied. “I am the harvester of eyes—” “I'm a veteran of the psychic wars!” the sacrifice affirmed. The Blue Oyster Cult slurped back another. She raised a black blade. “Don't fear the Reaper!”

Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.

So that's the nexus of the crisis? Is it any wonder that your mind's on fire?

Sorry. But hey, you got a free concert and a rockin' drabble. Thanks for sharing!
