Ablutophobia

Post by PB&Jellyphish320 » Thu Sep 11, 2014 5:22 am

She had soap in her eyes. So she didn’t see the thing now swimming in the water with her. She hadn’t seen it eek out from that little opening between the faucet and the drain. She hadn’t seen it drifting past her toes.

She heard it though. It was a sound like water rolling over water, creating a current not unlike the one she made as she bathed.

It wasn’t until the thing brushed her waist that she knew it was there. By then it was too late. She dissolved into hysterics as the water drained her from the tub.

I like it. Reminded me of Cronenberg's, "Shivers".
