An Incredible Tale of Survival

this one, I have to say, I'm kinda pleased with

Never is the night so black as when you're at sea. And never is the night so long as when you're adrift at sea. But of all the tumult and battering, the day after the storm is still. Mocking the nightmare that you're disappointed you lived through with a tranquil breeze. That was the first of many such days alone in the ocean. What kept me sane? I wonder if anything did. What kept me alive? Only one thing. Amongst all the salvaged cans of water, the useless signal flares, the fishhooks was: the Pie of Life. It was peach.
Many on the forum have asked me, so here's my answer: a spoonful of lighter fluid. And you'll need to wash it out really well when you're done.
