C & PB: The Abandonded Mime Field

Chance and Bob loved clodhopping.
“Don't go reeling through the mime field, boys,” squawked Bob's mother, “ever!”
They put on their clodhopping attire and took off running for the mime field.
Green grasses swayed as the boys played.
But Chance's glee evaporated. A white-gloved hand shot up threw the turf and nabbed his ankle!
“Herp! Herp!” Chance's arms flailed like so much spaghetti in the wind.
“Derp!” Bob said with alarm.
The mime was of course just pretending. But the Mime Disease it carried was real. Chance and Bob later turned white and were eaten by parasites.
(I hope you liked it. I know I sure did.)
