I’ve been watching him for a while now.
His laugh is mesmerising.
Chuckles tumble easily from his lips when he grins.
The first time I saw him it was quite by chance.
Now I have to see him every day.
I have to or my soul shrinks.
Today he's wearing a sweet little combo.
Cream cotton shirt and knee length lemon shorts.
He’s in the park playing Frisbee with his dog, Jess.
I linger, wistful.
Dreaming of what might be.
Tomorrow is Monday.
I’ll pass by the kindergarten on my way to work.
Maybe he’ll see me.
Maybe he’ll smile.
