Rabbit Season

Post by ROU Killing Time » Wed Aug 19, 2009 3:19 am

An automated response to the bunny flu was essential.

BF-BB1, contagious enough when airborne, was lethal within hours if you were bitten by a plague rabbit.

Mankind turned to AI driven robotics to save themselves.

AI programmers Robert and Tex sat together in the observation tower witnessing the disappointing results from the deployment of the Furry Disease Destroyers, our last hope against the bunny flu menace.

If the AI had been created in man’s image, apparently man was pretty stupid.

Referring to the logo "F.U.D.D." stenciled on each drone, Tex remarked to Robert, “Perhaps we shouldn’t have named them that.”

You just can't beat a good looney tunes story.

Now ensues a "yes you can", "no you can't", tribute.
You're my quasi-ichthian angel, you're my half-amphibian queen...

The Dribblecast, we don't care if you sound like an idiot.

Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Foghorn Leghorn "I say, I say..."

These were the best of my childhood friends.

Incidentally, Portland Oregon has the awesome bragging rights to being the birthplace of the man with a 1000 voices himself, the great Mel Blanc.

The white man himself was from Portland? Cool. Do they have any audio memorials for him there?

BTW, have you seen the show on "Tru TV" (Used to be Court TV" called Man Vs. Cartoon? It's pretty awesome, some military R&D dudes try and replicate Wile E. Coyote's failed attempts to catch Road Runner, but succeed. Pretty darn fun.

"Wile E. Coyote, Super Genius! I like the sound of that."

I'm glad that damn road runner finally got his long deserved comeuppance.

Fact-checking myself, I find that he was actually born in San Francisco, but grew up and attended high school in Portland, Oregon.

Help Miss Grimsley!!! I have a blind spot for Quotation marks, (ok, one of many blind spots...)

Should the comma be inside the quotes?
