Prison ships ain’t supposed to be comfortable, but that damn professor’s babbling didn’t help. Murdered his family, then lectures us? Great.
“Prison planets don’t make sense!” he protested through his newly broken nose. “The economics don’t even justify the fuel, let alone the whole infrastructure!”
We pulled free of Europa’s gravity with a hold full of the Universe’s worst and dimmest. No guards in the crowd, just us.
“Yeah?” jeered his benchmate, a triple homicide. “What does make sense?”
I got a chill when the economist’s eyes went wide. He didn’t answer. He didn’t have to. The airlock was opening.

Welcome back, Drabblecast! Figured I'd celebrate with a little drabble goodness :)
