Combat Fatigue

Post by ROU Killing Time » Tue Sep 01, 2009 7:39 am

I've been seventy two hours without sleep.

No relief has arrived.

I must assume the enclave has fallen or the shit has hit the fan there too.

Either way, there’s not much time left.

Johnson cracked and lost it.

He just couldn’t take it anymore.

Ate a bullet yesterday.

Have ammunition to last a year.

There are food rations to last a month.

But, I’ve run out of amphetamines.

Eyes are flagging.

I can‘t stay awake.

Not much longer now.

All around the bunker is a rosy halo of splattered blood and furry carcasses.

But the damn bunnies keep coming.

Some people count sheep to get to sleep. But ROU is a role-playa. So ROU lies in bed and comes up with the D&D version of counting sheep.
Wonder what zZzacha thinks..

Counting bunnies to stay awake, hmm. I hadn't noticed that inverted take on sheep-counting. Damn, that's inadvertantly clever.

As for what zZzacha thinks, well he/she/it (it's hard to sex that rabbit from the avatar) started the whole bunny mess with an off-hand forum comment.

Blame him/her/both/neither.

Aha! So this is were you guys are talking about me. Nice place you have here. Mind if I drop by? Mind if I don't pay attention if you'd say "No"? :]

I see you speak of bunnies! And lots of them! We can jump, can't we. And also, this jumpy little bunny is addicted to coffee, so there is no way in hell you can stay awake long enough. Har har! Nibble nibble.

Well done, I like what you've done with the place. There is a lot of you aROUnd here, in the Drabbles part of the Drabble Public Domian.

Speaking of Drabble Public Domian... has anyone noticed the spelling error in the forums title? I did, it's a very annoying side of me. Do you know what's even more annoying? That I have to WRITE about noticing the error. I'm a bitch.

Haha!! No, I never saw the spelling error.
You better watch it, ROU. With all the coffee she drinks, she might be as hyper as you! (Follow her on twitter sometime.)

At least.... until I run out of coffee...

Then the damn bunnies will overrun me...

I can see the end...

Not long now...

The other thing that works in your favor is the supply line issue.

Here I am, alone in my bunker, but there's millions of bunnies out there sending refreshments to the front lines.

How can there be so many damn bunnies?

WHere did you all come from?

Damn, I'm out of suger.

Guess I'll have to drink it black.
