Healer

Post by Mr. Tweedy » Sun Oct 18, 2009 3:20 pm

I have always believed that a person is never beyond healing.

When the zombies came, I stayed. I knew there could be no truth in that fatalistic label “undead.” I would learn the truth.

The procedure I discovered was simple. Once a zombie was restrained, it took me less than an hour to open the skull and snip away the bits of swollen, necrotic tissue responsible for their condition.

My wards are just barely conscious, aware enough to scoop up the gruel I spoon out for them. And yet I can see gratitude in their eyes. I will keep healing.

Take it from me, this was based on a true story.

Sick, but fun to visualize. What'll they think of next, dental extractions for vampires? Hmmm...I shudder to think.

:) The response to this has really surprised me. I had actually intended for it to be optimistic.

I hope you didn't take my "Icky" comment as a negative.

I intended it as high praise... :-)

I like it! It's very optimistic, Mr. Tweedy...there in the midst of the brave new zombie-apocalypse world our intrepid hero is finding a way to thrive in the face of this new challenge. "Undead" indeed. He will make the world see things his way...one day.

Bravo!
