Great job on Picky, ROU. You provided the right mood. I know you said you wanted to have backroom bar sounds, but that might have been distracting. I like it as it stands.

Well, we're gonna post up Version 2 as well, so you can 'pick' and choose which one you like better...

Ditto.
Yes, that was v good.

Remember readers there are more McClain stories for you to give your own interpretation - and Dreamrock is powerless to stop you (unless he refuses to post the story).

 It wouldn't matter if I refused to post it. ;) Strawman or ROU would find it and post it up. Out of the kindness of your hearts, though, please save any Clone McClain readings for when I've posted the last one. I can't promise it will make a difference, but I have plans that may affect what kind of production work anyone might decide to do for those since the revelations have not really been made yet.

I've tried to keep the first post updated with the status of things as they stand so reading the whole thread isn't necessary. I can't guarantee I've done a great job of it.

---

It seems like the debate of "assume or ask permission" has resulted in this status quo:

People who want everything they post to be available for Dribbling announce it here and I edit the first post to add them. Then, for the rest, if you preemptively allow a given work to be Dribbled, you add that info to your title and/or to your post.

Then, if you're a reader and you want to Dribble something not expressly allowed by one of the methods above, you get permission.

It's not an especially simple solution, but it seems to work without stepping on toes.

well, if the fact that i've been dribbled twice hasn't tipped it, all my stuff's fair game, obviously. but who's been against being in such a fine 'cast as the dribble?

Just sent in a dribble of another one of my drabbles. My sound quality is so bad, I don't want to sabotage anyone else's work. Sorry. I'll experiment on myself.

~Posterous Grumble~

My grumble is that commenting is very difficult on Posterous. Often I would like to leave a quick comment to say 'that sucks' or 'my dog could narrate better than that', but to do so I need a facebook/twitter/posterous account. Unfortunately I am paranoid and massively antisocial and do not have any of these things, so my constructive criticism goes untyped. Sad really.

 I somehow have a hard time imagining you saying any of those things.

If someone wanted to say mean things about me on posterous, the best time to do it would be starting tomorrow night but before Friday night as I'll be near Chicago with limited internet access. Internet stalkers (the variety who watch out for people mentioning vacation or travel on twitter and facebook): suck it, my roommates will still be in town and, unlike me, they are not pacifists. Somewhat opposite to pacifists in fact.

More to the point, I won't be doing anything dribbly (janitorial or otherwise) for the next several days.
