There seems to be quite a few of us here, right? Certainly a disproportionate number. What is it that draws us to the Drabblecast? Norm's incisive, almost surgical wit? The "brevity is the soul of wit" philosophy that generated our own LOL in NAD, PPP, GOMER and other Shemesque abbreviations? Our own exposure to what amounts to daily Drabblenews?

Same thing that caused lines to form around the parking lot for the original Star Wars movies.

Or nerds to convene at cons for massive RPG'ing experiences.

Or swarms of flies to cover a rotting cow carcass in the desert.

It's the tasty nature of the drabblecast.

Are you saying that there are a disproportionate number of MD-type docs here? While this seems to be true of kick-ass weekly donors and RSS subscribers, I don't know of any other forum members.

This is unfortunate, as the drabblecast in the patient's head as you perform brain surgery would be an excellent supplement to anaesthesia. Isn't that true, Abby?

Contraindicated for gastroenterology, however.
